Emma is the founder of this peer support group in Newbury, which is a part of a nationwide network of groups, for anyone affected by mental health challenges. We meet regularly in Newbury for a gentle walk and talk, usually followed by tea and cake. This is a safe space to talk with likeminded people, without fear of judgement.
We often have guest speakers visit us. They talk to us about a variety of subjects from mindfulness, coping strategies to the stigma surrounding suicide and self harm. All events are free and a warm welcome awaits you.
"Before joining this friendly group I only had work colleages to talk to and now I have made friends who are non judgemental and it's changed my life"
"The group is friendly and welcoming. Has given me plenty of ideas on how I can manage my issues. The meet ups are a great way to meet other like minded people and I’ve never felt any pressure to talk about my problems, but I know that I can if I wish without being judged "
